Youth Education
Our educational programs recognize that today’s youth need more than academic knowledge—they need practical skills, confidence in their capabilities, and direct relationship with the natural systems that sustain all life.
SEASONAL FARM PROGRAMS
Spring, Summer & Fall Sessions
Multi-week programs immerse students ages 8-18 in complete farm operations. Participants gain hands-on experience with:
-
Planting, cultivating, and harvesting seasonal crops
-
Daily animal care and husbandry
-
Composting and soil building
-
Food preservation and preparation
-
Natural cycle observation and nature journaling
Each session culminates in a farm-to-table meal celebrating the literal fruits of our labor together.

SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS
We welcome school groups for day-long farm experiences aligned with science, agriculture, and environmental education standards. Programs can be customized to age groups and learning objectives, providing memorable hands-on learning that brings textbook concepts to life.

NATURE TRAILS
Self-guided and docent-led trail experiences wind through diverse habitats, with interpretive signage teaching about local ecosystems, seasonal changes, and wildlife observations. Trails are designed for various ability levels, making nature accessible to all visitors.

Stay Awhile
Sometimes connection requires more than a day visit. Our overnight accommodations allow families and groups to fully immerse themselves in the rhythm of farm life.
